Aero Friedrichshafen Air Show

2009/04/02

Aero Friedrichshafen, a passport for light aircraft in Europe

InnovAero in Darois, named rural centre of excellence in 2007, makes it plain that its ambition is to become one of the major European centres for light and small business aircraft in the future.

From 2 to 5 April 2009, the InnovAero cluster was present for the first time at this air show which numbered 550 exhibitors from 30 countries. Supported by the Côte d’Or General Council and the Burgundy Regional Council, the Burgundian booth run by the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, covered an area of 500 m². This stand was occupied by companies from within the aviation sector in Burgundy (CEAPR, Dynaero, IAERO, JPC Aviation, and Aero Restauration Services) and the Regional Development Agency. Via 26 B to B meetings, the latter presented regional competence and know-how to both French and foreign companies resulting in serious leads for collaboration and partnership.
