The Burgundy nuclear centre was held at Vicenza at the head office of Confindustria

On Tuesday, 6 July 2010, the first meeting took place, jointly organised by the Confindustria de Vicenza, the industrial Association for the province of Vicenza, the French agency for International investment, Burgundy Development Agency, the Burgundy Regional Development Agency and the Burgundy nuclear centre was held in the north of Italy at Vicenza at the head office of Confindustria.

At the request of Italian industrialists from this province, they discussed the nuclear energy industry. An interest which is explained by the National Italian context which, in future years, is orientated once more towards an energy mix including nuclear which was stopped some 20 years ago. The complementary nature of the two centres, the Vicenza Mechatronics and the Burgundy BNP was confirmed at the end of the day. Event organisers envisage and view as desirable joint working opportunities, with Burgundy positioning itself in a complementary way in the energy market.
